May 14, 2009 - Brian has upgraded his audio soundcard to Echo’s AudioFire 4.  The AudioFire connects via FireWire instead of USB, allowing for a faster dedicated connection.

April 17, 2009 - Brian purchased a Vestax rotary mixing board, see image to the right. Brian prefers a rotary mixer over mixers with sliders because the rotary faders allow him to shape his mixes more precisely.

March 1, 2009 - DJ Brian Alan is now using Traktor Scratch Pro with a Vestax VCI-100 controller.

June 2008 - DJ Brian Alan retired his old Indigo DJ sound card and moves forward with the new DJ io from NuMark. DJ Brian Alan highly recommends DJ io as it allows users to assign two separate channels from your laptop’s virtual decks.
